Seattle is a city of neighborhoods and if you’re moving to the area, you will love exploring all the different areas of the city.  If you work in Downtown Seattle, then you may enjoy living nearby in such neighborhoods like Queen Anne or Capitol Hill.  From there, you can ride your bicycle downtown or take a quick bus and be at work.  You may also enjoy living in a condo downtown in Belltown or lower Queen Anne or South Lake Union.  Expect to spend at least $1000 a month on rent for an apartment and at least $300K for a condo.  You can find houses starting around $500K for a small fixer, and $700K for a family home.

Seattle has some great public schools, and you can find a lot of school information online to help you make a good choice if you are relocating to Seattle. The Seattle Public Schools are very good, and our largest in-city high school, Garfield H.S., has more National Merit Scholars than any of the private high schools.

Capitol-Hill-500x375If you like Sunsets, then you may prefer to live in the North or Northwest part of the city.  You can get great water views from West Seattle or the Junction or Admiral areas of West Seattle.
