2B Class Auction Project

Our 2B Class Auction Project is a one of a kind piece of art meant to put a smile on anyones face. It is a nostalgic take on traditional paint by number paintings, a leisure art activity shared by many families in less hectic times.

Our project differs, in that the picture of our regal kitten is entirely made from archival color-aid papers hand cut with scissors and sharp knives, much like traditional silhouette cutting.

The second grade artists of 2B helped to cut areas of paper and embellished the ornate one of a kind handmade frame with royal jewels worthy of the Queen of Kitties.

6C Class Auction Project

Our auction theme this year, State Fair, reminds one of the “Good Times”, growing up on the farm, family traditions, seasonal outings, sitting around the warm fire with friends and pets, big meals, and indulging in leisurely activities, such as games, putting together puzzles, or family arts projects.

Our 6C Class Auction Project is a one of a kind piece of art. It is a nostalgic take on traditional paint by number paintings, a leisure art activity shared by many families in less hectic times. The loyal family collie, Lassie, is our inspiration for these relaxing butterfly chairs. Use them in your home, inside or out, take them camping or be the envy of your next fishing trip!

These hand painted one of a kind heavy canvas folding chairs are painted with fine art fabric paints and have the individual artwork of the 6C students applied in a symmetrical “frame” to complete this unique furniture set.
