‘Capitol Hill resident Bradford Bohonus has created a fabulous website, VR Seattle, where he features incredible 360-degree images, Virtual Reality tours, of major landmarks around the city.’ View a VR Tour of Volunteer Park Do You Live in Fremont?To get involved in local arts events, check out Fremont Arts Council. And the Fremont Chamber of Commerce really tries to improve the quality of life in the neighborhood. The Fremont Abbey also has a great line-up of community events. Do you live around Greenlake?Green Lake is surrounded entirely by a very popular paved path. The 4.5 kilometer path is divided into two lanes one for pedestrians and one for bicycles, roller skates, and other wheeled unmotorized vehicles. Here’s a great 360-degree tour of the beach at Greenlake. There used to be a really cool open air stadium on the South side of Greenlake called the Aqua Theater. Just South of Greenlake is Woodland Park, which has feral rabbits. Check out the Seattle Parks page for an overview of Greenlake. Do You Live in Phinney? Phinney Ridge is named after the ridge which runs north and south, separating Ballard from Wallingford, from approximately N. 45th to N. 85th Street. They have the most wonderful and active group, the Phinney Neighborhood Association. They have a great holiday fair, a Day of the Dead celebration, a Garden Tour, a Halloween bash and more. Are you a Wallingford resident?Wallingford is a neighborhood in north central Seattle, Washington, named after John Noble Wallingford (died 1913). They have some great attractions, Gasworks Park, the Wallingford Center and Dick’s Drive-In. What more could you want? Do You Live on Queen Anne?Queen Anne can refer either to the entire hill or to the central residential and business district at the top of the hill. They are connected by an extremely steep section of Queen Anne Avenue N. known as the Counterbalance, in memory of the cable cars that once ran up and down it. The Queen Anne Historical Society has a lot of interesting history about the neighborhood.
