Gaslight Inn is a Seattle four-square guest house built in 1906, celebrating its 20th anniversary as a bed and breakfast inn in 2003!
The interior is appointed in exacting detail, with strikingly rich, dark colors, oak paneling, and an enormous entryway and staircase. The comfortable and unique rooms and suites are furnished with quality double or queen-sized beds, refrigerator and television. Decorated with a tasteful blend of Northwest Indian Art, quality antiques and contemporary furnishings, most of the rooms feature private baths and some have decks with fabulous views or fireplaces. The living room, with its large oak fireplace, is always inviting , as is the library.

Conveniently located on Capitol Hill, Seattle’s most exciting neighborhood that also happens to be closest to the center of the city – Westlake Center (15 blocks). You can walk downtown or take the #10 Metro bus.

Through the late spring and summer, we encourage you to relax and unwind at poolside with a glass of wine after a long, busy day. This private, in-ground, heated pool with several decks and tropical plant arrangements is found at the back of the inn, along with the koi pond and Northwest perennial garden.

When traveling to Seattle may we offer Barclay Court as a unique alternative to conventional hotels. Convenient access to Downtown galleries, restaurants, and night life, along with competitive rates make us the smart choice.

The combined efforts of award winning architecture coupled with Mr. Nowak’s artistic expression results in a habitat that resembles an artistic experience more than just a nights stay.
